Eric Mark Simmons of St. Albert, Alberta, has been charged by Alberta RCMP after allegedly sexually assaulting two minors following an investigation that began in March 2026. Police say the investigation was launched after a youth’s parents reported that Simmons was involved in an inappropriate relationship with their child. Investigators allege Simmons had contact with several youths between the ages of 13 and 16 since the fall of 2025. During the investigation, RCMP identified a second confirmed victim. Simmons is charged with two counts of sexual assault, two counts of sexual interference, and one count of luring a child under the age of 16. Police allege he supplied alcohol and drugs to youths in exchange for “hangouts.” RCMP believe there may be additional victims and are asking anyone with information to come forward.
