We are STILL seeing people confidently telling families this, even after we've shared the official guidance multiple times. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗶𝘀 𝘀𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲: You 𝗰𝗮𝗻 be fined for 𝗳𝗲𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝟭𝟬 𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 of unauthorised absence. This is particularly relevant for: ✈️ Term-time holidays. 📋 Cases where there has been a pattern of unauthorised absence or previous attempts to stay below the 10-session threshold. This isn't our opinion. It isn't something we've "heard." It's taken directly from the 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗼 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗔𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 statutory guidance, updated in 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲.
