Duterte has once again strengthened the “Libreng Sakay para sa Edukasyon” program through the distribution of an additional 12 service vehicles aimed at supporting indigent students. In her latest project, Duterte confirmed that 12 new vehicles will be deployed across three districts of Davao City. This expansion aims to provide safe, reliable, and free transportation for indigent students, ensuring they can attend school without worrying about daily travel expenses. For students attending far-flung schools, dili na kaayo layo ang ilang baktason, as the Libreng Sakay para sa Edukasyon program brings transportation closer to their communities, making daily school travel safer, easier, and more accessible. With this new batch, the Liga ng mga Barangay has now distributed a total of 26 vehicles under the program. The project continues to gain support from local communities as it directly addresses one of the common challenges faced by underprivileged students. Beneficiaries of the program expressed gratitude, noting that the free transportation helps them focus more on their studies rather than their daily commute. “Dako kaayo ni’g tabang sa amo.
