From the very first chapter, I found myself completely invested in Theo and Nora's story. Their connection isn't built on instant attraction or dramatic declarations—it's the kind of romance that grows slowly, layer by layer, until you're rooting for them with your whole heart.

Theo is doing his best to navigate life as a single father after unimaginable loss, and watching him balance grief, fatherhood, and the possibility of opening his heart again felt incredibly authentic. Nora brought such warmth and light to every scene. Her bond with Charlotte was absolutely precious, and some of my favorite moments were simply the three of them together, creating something that felt like home.

The slow-burn romance was done so well. Every glance, every conversation, every little moment carried meaning, making the payoff feel even sweeter. I especially appreciated how the story handled healing and moving forward. It never rushed the process, allowing both characters the space to grow while learning to trust love again.

The small-town setting added an extra layer of charm, and the fake dating element created just the right amount of tension without overshadowing the emotional depth of the story.
