Pakistan’s food import bill rose 13.81 per cent to $7.85 billion during July to April FY26, according to the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics. Higher imports of palm oil, tea, dry fruits and infant food pushed the total upward. Palm oil imports alone crossed $3.31 billion, while soybean oil and wheat imports declined sharply during the same period. Food exports also dropped 32.2 per cent to $4.19 billion. #Pakistan #FoodImports #Economy #Trade
