The exercise forms part of the Assemblyโs monthly sanitation program held every first Saturday of each month. The District Chief Executive for Kwahu East District, Hon. Samuel Asamoah, together with the Assembly staff, joined the Assemblyman for Kwahu Pepease, Unit Committee members, community members, the youth, students from St. Dominic Senior High Technical School (DOSTECH), and some Christian leaders to undertake the clean-up exercise. The team cleaned important public places including the Pepease Durbar Grounds and the Pepease Health Center to ensure a cleaner and safer environment for residents. Addressing the gathering after the exercise, the DCE assured the people of the Assemblyโs commitment towards the rehabilitation of the Pepease to Abetifi road. He also advised residents, especially the youth, to remain peaceful and avoid involving themselves in chieftaincy disputes, stressing the need for unity and development in the area. The exercise once again demonstrated unity, commitment, and the collective responsibility of maintaining cleanliness and peace within the district.
