𝐒𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐚 𝐏𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝟔𝟏𝐬𝐭 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐫𝐭 𝐄𝐱𝐡𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧–𝐋𝐚 𝐁𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐞 𝐝𝐢 𝐕𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐳𝐢𝐚 The seminar organized by #ChinaAcademyofArt ( #CAA)，Accademia di Belle Arti di Venezia and Ca’ Foscari University of Venice, will be held on May 9th from 09:30 to 17:00 at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Venezia. The theme of the China Pavilion is 𝐃𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐦, originates from the Eastern wisdom of "investigating underlying principles through the observation of phenomena" and "the unity of heaven and humanity", which are embodied in the Dream Stream Essays by Shen Kuo of the Northern Song dynasty. This book records reflections on the humanities, arts, science and technology, and was praised by the British historian of science Joseph Needham as "a milestone in the history of Chinese science". How to renew tradition through innovation, and how to integrate art with science and technology, is the wager of this exhibition. It stages an immersive and perceptible Eastern visual system and cognitive schema.
