I know this is called a POV for a reason… because obviously life does not always go this smoothly 😅 Sometimes you spot a cute guy on the street, you build up the courage to say something, and he’s not interested. Sometimes he has a boyfriend. Sometimes he smiles politely and walks away. And yes, sometimes your ego takes a tiny little hit for about 14 seconds. But honestly? I still think that’s a million times better than walking away and spending the rest of the day thinking, “what if I’d said something?” Because that little “what if” is annoying. It stays in your head. It becomes a whole fake storyline. You start imagining the version of the day where you were brave enough, where you smiled, where you made him laugh, where he actually said yes. So my advice is: just go and talk to him. Not in a creepy way. Not in a pushy way. Not like you’re entitled to anything. Just like a normal confident man who saw someone attractive and decided to say hello. Worst case? He says no, and you move on with your life. Best case? Well… sometimes it starts on the street, continues in an alleyway, gets a bit more interesting in the lift, and suddenly you’re very glad you didn’t let the moment pass 😏 And the funny thing is, confidence changes everything. Maybe he wasn’t even thinking about you like that at first. Maybe you weren’t his usual type. Maybe he was just going about his day. But then you walk up to him, look him in the eye, make him laugh, show him you’re not afraid of a bit of real-life tension… and suddenly he sees you differently. That’s what apps can’t do. Apps are convenient, sure. But they also make everything feel flat. Swiping, waiting, matching, ghosting, pretending not to care, having the same dry conversation for the 400th time. Nothing beats real chemistry. Nothing beats the energy of actually standing in front of someone.
