Spawn Update! We have babies, though we cannot tell how many white yet. We had to try a new (for us) method with Arlo. We used a 5 gallon bucket with a few inches of water, a seeded filter, floating plants, and a heater. We let it run for a week to build up infusoria before putting him in. We used a different female this time, Ack-ack!, and put her into a separate, ventilated container in the bucket. Arlo built his nest overnight and Ack-ack! was released the next morning. They started spawning quickly, and she was removed when they were done. Now that they're free-swimming, Arlo has been removed.
