AND too many beautifully haunting quotes to count? 🥹 My only complaint is that the pacing did feel slower in comparison to prior books, plus my own regret of not rereading books 1 & 2, a recap wasn’t enough 🤣 In my opinion, I think these books need to be read either back to back or very close together. It was over a year since I’ve finished book 2 🫣 I honestly don’t know how to continue after finishing this though, all I will say is that you NEED to read it if you’re a fan of gothic fantasy, vampires, and craving emotional damage 😅 I’ll DIE on this hill that this series is top tier for immersive reading. Listening to the audio while following along was the ideal experience for me, especially paired with the illustrations throughout 😍
