When a woman has PCOS, more intensity isn’t always better. Many women are already living in a body that’s stressed, inflamed, and overworked internally. So when we pile on:
– HIIT
– heavy lifting
– extreme fasting
– “push harder” workouts …we’re often just adding more stress to a system that’s begging for regulation. When I was healing my PCOS (putting it into remission), I realized that extremes were making me feel worse. So for a season, I chose to focus on calmness and regulation. Practices that were actually making me feel good in my body:
– daily walks
– hiking
– focusing on steps
– gentle yoga & nervous system support And that simplicity was deeply healing. It made such a massive difference for me. Sometimes the most powerful thing you can do for your hormones
isn’t more discipline —
it’s less stress. We can’t punish our bodies into healing! We have to love our bodies into healing. Safety, appreciation, stress regulation, and nervous system regulation; these are the key ✨ Your body heals when it feels safe. #PCOSHealing #HormoneHealth #GentleMovement #PCOSRemission #WomensHealth #NervousSystemHealing #HolisticHormones
