The Brightness Between Us by Eliot Schrefer Y’all- I didn’t think it was possible, but this one matched the same vibe/energy as the first. I refuse to give away the plot, but please trust me that these books are gold. And the first one (I believe) is being made into a movie, so you might as well jump on it before that happens! Both books really cultivate the relationship between Kodiak and Ambrose in such a beautiful way and it’s that connection/dynamic between the two that really hits home for me. There were two very district moments in The Brightness were I put the book down for a moment and had to pause - one for the beauty/heartbreak and the other for the shock/thrill factor.
