4 tiny things I’d do in July so August-me doesn’t panic about math lesson plans: 1)Print the pacing guide. 2)Highlight the first unit or standards and break down the first few skills I’ll need to teach. 3)Figure out what students need to already know before jumping into each skill. 4)Make a list of what I still need for each lesson. And this is usually where the list starts getting LONG. Warm-up. Notes. Practice. Exit ticket.
