Espresso cinnamon rolls 🤎 Ingredients Dough: • 1 cup warm milk • 2 ¼ tsp yeast • ¼ cup sugar • 1 egg + 1 yolk • ¼ cup melted butter • 3 ½ cups flour • ¾ tsp salt • 1 tsp espresso powder (or instant coffee ) Filling: • ⅔ cup brown sugar • 1 ½ tbsp cinnamon • 1 tsp espresso powder (or instant coffee) • ¼ cup softened butter Icing: • 4 oz cream cheese • 3 tbsp butter • ¾ cup powdered sugar • ½ tsp vanilla • Optional: 1 tsp instant coffee, splash of milk ⸻ Instructions 1. Make Dough 1. Mix warm milk, yeast, and sugar; let sit until foamy. 2. Add egg, yolk, and melted butter. 3. Mix in flour, salt, and instant coffee until a soft dough forms. 4. Knead until smooth and elastic. 5. Let rise 1–1.5 hours, until doubled. 2. Fill & Shape 1. Mix brown sugar, cinnamon, and espresso powder or instant coffee. 2. Roll dough into a rectangle. 3. Spread with softened butter and sprinkle the sugar mixture. 4. Roll up, slice into 12 rolls, place in a greased baking dish. 5. Let rise 30–45 minutes. 3.
