I’m grateful did! Hood Feminism completely opened my eyes and I honestly think it should be required reading for everyone and anyone. Especially if you considered yourself an ally, this book should be your first stop towards true allyship. The book above paired with We Are Not Like Them about two life long friends, one black the other white finding themselves in an impossible situation, was enlightening and heartbreaking.
