The Ernest movies were always on in our house growing up and Ernest Saves Christmas from 1988 was a classic that we watched every year. While I don't think it's as good as Ernest Goes to Camp, it's still a great Christmas comedy that brings back all the nostalgia when watching it around Christmas. Jim Varney was a genius playing this character and it's a shame he's no longer with us. The slapstick comedy that Varney brings the Ernest was perfect when I was 6-10 years old and made me and my brothers laugh everytime he was on screen. These movies weren't going to win any awards, but they were perfect for kids like us growing up in the 80s and 90s. What's your favorite Ernest movie?
