Hi Everyone, Today I want to talk about location scouting! Important Note: Finding locations is one of the most important parts of a project! * Try not to do Guerilla filmmaking, it might be cheap but it can be a headache. 🤯 Below are some tips for location scouting🤓👌 - Get permission! Make sure you have the right to shoot there. Make a contract even if it’s a friend. Keep things as professional as you can. - Limit locations unless you have free access. - Be mindful of noise in the locations you choose. Go to the location at different times. - Since it’s your first project, try to shoot in locations that don’t require a permit🤔 - Trying to stay on schedule is easier when you have a shot list because you planned everything out. That doesn’t mean you can’t improvise. A shot list is more of a plan that can be modified. Unless you have time limits, then I suggest you just get your shots done. I want to hear from you.🫵 Do you have a process for finding locations? I’m giving some small pointers for beginners. This is not getting too technical, so if you have questions, feel free to ask. 👌 Don't forget to like.👍 Check me out on social media and don’t forget to like and subscribe 🙏😅. Thanks!
