23-year-old Bryce Borca vanished in Eagan, Minnesota in the early morning hours of Oct. 30, 2022 — and despite massive searches, he still hasn’t been found. According to a newly filed search warrant, investigators recently uncovered additional details about the final moments before his disappearance. Bryce had been out with friends on a party bus, then got dropped off by Lyft around 2:08 a.m. The driver said he was so intoxicated that he even tried to get out of the car while it was still moving. His friends thought he was walking home to his apartment — a 45-minute walk. But at 2:34 a.m., Bryce FaceTimed them, confused, lost, and with only 2% battery left. He shared his location… and it showed he was in the woods off Highway 13 — the opposite direction of his home. The call lasted 12 minutes. Then it ended. After that, every call went straight to voicemail. Searchers later found a tie believed to be his along the road near his suspected route. Police also found surveillance footage of him walking alone, and cell records show he moved through an industrial area before entering deep woods filled with marshes and ponds. On Oct. 31, 250 volunteers and 100 search-and-rescue professionals combed the area and found nothing. The next day, police suspended the search near the Minnesota River. No trace of Bryce.
