I’ve been a loyal Apple customer for over a decade. I bought the iPhone 16 Pro 1TB in Sept 2024 (made Aug 2024). In less than a year: • Battery health dropped to 97% with 262 cycles • I have to charge it 2–3 times a day • It gets so hot it feels unsafe • Battery lasts <7hrs with minimal use • Trade-in quote? Just $950 for a $1600 phone • Diagnostics? Inconsistent and unreliable Apple Support just pushes me around between departments. Store visit? “Just update.” Senior rep? Only gave me a July 5 appointment, no action. I’m not asking for much.
