How to determine “Deck Post Height” @stabila_usa_canada We determine top of deck height, then subtract joist + beam height. This will give us top of post height. We measure each saddle separating with a grade stick + laser level. We write the corresponding measure on each saddle and the cut guy will cut them accordingly.
