🌸 Full explanation video for subscribers. When your body is giving you multiple symptoms at the same time, on top of the weather, how do you know what to support first? In TCM, there is a very simple logic that keeps things clear and avoids making imbalances worse. 1️⃣ Root or Branch? Root = underlying cause Branch = symptoms happening right now ✨ If symptoms are severe → treat the branch first. Think: fever, swelling, infection, acute cough, sharp pain. These need cooling or clearing foods/teas right away. ✨ If symptoms are mild + chronic → treat the root. Think: fatigue, weak digestion, cold limbs, poor sleep. This is where slow, nourishing soups work best. 2️⃣ Is it EXCESS or DEFICIENCY? This is the key question in TCM. ⭐ First priority: Clear excess. 👉 Removing the “blockage” first creates space for the body to heal. There are exceptions though, such as when the body is too weak to eliminate the pathogens. ⭐ After excess is cleared → gently tonify. When you nourish at the right time, the body absorbs it better. 3️⃣ Adapt to season, diet, and taste. Your diet should shift with the environment around you. ⭐This is the foundation of choosing the right soups, teas, and ingredients at the right time at the right moment.
