𝐈’𝐝 𝐠𝐨 𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐢𝐧 𝐚 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐛𝐞𝐚𝐭. 𝐍𝐨𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞 𝐚 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞. ❤️ It’s funny how the older you get, the faster time seems to fly by. I’ve blinked twice, and somehow we’re five years and a whole lot of kilograms further along. But somehow, I still see the same little puppy we brought home all those years ago. Those big eyes, those floppy ears, that ridiculously cute face. And sometimes, I find myself longing for those days. I wish I could slow down the moments I didn’t know I’d miss. Not because I don’t love who he’s become, but because going back would mean having five more years with him. There are so many things I’d love to do all over again. Some things I wish I could have protected him from, and so many little moments I’d give anything to hold onto just a little longer. But time keeps moving. It flies by, just like the seasons change. Every stage has its own kind of beauty, and growing up is part of the journey. One thing I know for sure: this dog is worth his weight in gold. And then some.
