This is kind of a niche tip, but for those who encounter it this should be very useful~ I prefer platinum silicones - they have better physical properties and much longer library life. But they are finicky as hell. Looking at them funny will inhibit curing. Resin prints are often a culprit. This is often due to the specific chemical used as the photoinitiator for polymerization. This differs per brand so sometimes they won't inhibit curing but other times you get a gooey mess. This also explains why older prints sometimes stop inhibiting (slow cure/release of photoinitiator over time). When post-curing your prints, oxygen can interfere and cause incomplete curing, allowing photoinitiator to remain even after it seems done. Submerging the prints in water while curing solves this and gets the surface to 100% cure much quicker. It also helps curing in crevices and recessed details since it diffuses UV somewhat. I also noticed after water curing that there was no longer a "volatile chemical" smell to the prints after water curing, which supports the theory. After this they should be immediately ready for molding! Test it out first with a small piece, your mileage may vary depending on what brand of resin you use depending on the formulation.
