Remote Foreign Work Experience While Working Full Time in Canada 🇨🇦🌎 Can you claim foreign work experience for Express Entry while you are physically working full-time in Canada? According to the Express Entry Ministerial Instructions, there is no specific provision that automatically prevents you from gaining qualifying foreign work experience remotely while working in Canada. The rules limit the number of hours you can claim per week for Canadian and foreign work experience, but they do not expressly prohibit remote foreign employment simply because you are physically present in Canada. ⚠️ Immigration outcomes can vary from case to case. Do not rely on a general interpretation without reviewing your specific situation.
