A disturbing viral video from El Paso, Texas, appears to show a group of young people wearing Ku Klux Klan-style robes and shouting racist slurs. The local NAACP, city leaders, and Congresswoman Veronica Escobar condemned the display. El Paso police say they are reviewing the footage to determine whether any laws were violated. The KKK’s robes represent a history of racial terror, lynching, and intimidation. Calling it a costume doesn’t erase that history. We need answers, accountability, and adults willing to teach the next generation why this is dangerous. #America #Racism #BlackHistory #WhiteSupremacy #Accountability @Joy Ann Reid @Don Lemon @Aaron Parnas @Atlanta Black Star @The Boston Globe @The New York Times @Raw Story @The Daily Beast @MeidasTouch @Reuters
