When a girl says she hates men, it was never hatred to begin with. It was fear & maybe it still is. I was only 16 when I started my 1st job. Just 1 week in, on my way, the way those monsters looked at me planted a deep terror in my heart. I'd never worn a face mask before,but that week was enough to make me hide myself for a lifetime. Raised on fairy tales, I never realized how terrifying the real world could be. After finishing my intermediate, I took on a paid internship But on my very 1st day, manager walked up to explain the work & casually tried to touch my shoulder. I flinched & stepped back. The look in his eyes traumatized me to my core. My 1st day became my last day. I refused to work in an office again. Instead, I chose teaching & took on double shifts giving tuitions anything to avoid an office environment. Imagine a 16-year-old girl stepping out to work out of necessity, only to be left with a lifetime of fear & trauma at such a young age. At 1st, it’s Pure Terror. U cry & feel helpless. Then, that terror turns into anger coz' u know, physically, as a woman, u can't fight back. Over time, hearing about more cases, that anger turns into hatred. A woman who hates men knows not all men are bad. But how can she know who to trust? A manhater understands better what a true man should be like & how safe he should make a woman feel simply coz' she has only experienced the bad ones. So, whenever a girl says she hates men, understand that her trauma has been triggered. Every new case brings that fear back to the surface. She isn't spreading hate she's expressing her FEAR. She can't fight u physically, but she holds onto hope that a real man will understand her fear instead of trying to defeat her. Physical strength means nothing without mercy & a big heart. Remember when Superman was bullied? He'd all the power to destroy, but he walked away coz' he chose understanding over his ego. With true power comes great responsibility. If u consider yourself a real man, show your strength through empathy. Understand a woman's fear instead of attacking her for her pain. She isn't full of hate she's just scared.
