I can’t count the number of times I’ve skipped a meal. Not because I wasn’t hungry, but because the steps to make food accessible felt louder than my will to eat. Having ARFID means food is already complicated. But it’s the seemingly little things like: restaurants without photos, grocery stores that don’t carry what I need, menus I can’t navigate, or dishes I can’t modify that end up becoming the reason I just… don’t eat at all. So I’m looking to change that. I’m building something I wish existed. A tool that could make safe foods easier to find, order, and access (and maybe even make room for a little community along the way). I have no background in tech. I’m not sure where this will go. But I do know this could change things for the better — and that’s my reason to try. 🩵 But if I’m going to do this, I want to do it right. That’s where you come in. The link in my bio leads to a short survey. It’s for people with ARFID, or parents and clinicians who support them. Your insights will help shape what this app should actually look like — and if you know someone who’d want to support or sponsor this work, I’d love to connect. Email in bio. 💛 Thank you for being here. Let’s build this, together. #arfidawareness #arfid #arfidsupport #newapp #pickyeaters #eatingdisorderrecovery #autism #adhd
