The team visited key development sites ranging from modern office ergonomics to the newly upgraded Harsadi Village tourism destination. The delegates expressed high appreciation for the remarkable progress achieved in a short period of time under the leadership of the Bishoftu Tourism Office. They highlighted Bishoftu as a model of innovation, ecosystem-based tourism development, and citizen participation. During the visit, they affirmed that Bishoftu is well on the path to realizing its vision of becoming Africa’s leading tourism hub, driven by environmental sustainability, culture-based tourism, and modern infrastructure.
