I’ve seen so many people do makeup on their deceased loved ones and always said I could never do it. But this time… it was my Granny. I watched countless videos, researched everything I could, and prayed for the strength to get through it. God held me together to lay her away beautifully. And when my dad, her son, a licensed mortician /embalmer approved everything, I knew I honored her the way she deserved. Big thanks to my sisters for being by my side. & Let me be honest…I’m not pitiful. I don’t need a book of scriptures. Trust me when I say, I have them in my heart. But I’m human…I’m hurting, and this is the worst pain I’ve ever felt.
