We’re not yelling at police or blocking streets , we’re asking, who’s really willing to show up for their people? Not just with noise, but with heart. Hearts in the Alley is a community led response to the devastating ICE raids that have swept through Santee Alley , a historic, vibrant hub of Mexican American culture in Downtown Los Angeles. Families are hurting. Vendors are struggling. Fear has emptied the streets. But we believe unity can bring them back. We’re asking for just $1 from as many people as possible to prove how powerful community support can be when it’s real. Every dollar raised will go directly to vendors and families in need on Saturday, June 28th from 11 AM to 1 PM, right in the heart of Santee Alley. That same day, we’ll spend every cent raised right there in the alley, purchasing goods from local vendors and immediately gifting them to families in need (so please help spread awareness to families affected ) .
