We hiked the Karhunkierros 🐻🐾 in 4 days, with 8 legs and 3 backpacks 💪. The route is officially 82 km long, but because we went on a lot of side quests, we ended up walking over a 100 km in the 4 days. We gained a lot of blisters and sore muscles, but the views were definitely worth it 😍 Every night we slept near water, either in a Laavu (lean-to-shelter) or in our tent. We washed ourselves in the cold artic rivers and lakes and then warmed up next to the fire afterwards 🏕️. Nuutti did so well and he carried his own backpack all the way 🤩. He enjoyed all the rivers to swim in and made new friends with the reindeers we saw along the way 🦌. This has been the most amazing hiking trip and such a memorable life experience. It was really tough at some stages and definitely not a trip of comfort, but I would do it again.
