Time Remembered - Bill Evans. This is one of Bill’s most evocative compositions and one of my favorites. Not quite modal but not quite tonal either, it floats between harmonies in a seemingly circular logic. Maybe it’s meant to mimic the hazy mist that all memories are eventually covered in as they become more obscured, and ultimately transformed, by the passage of time.
