Spike stays by Ernie's side while she relaxes in the nestbox almost everyday now. She isn't laying eggs because she is implanted. She used to sit out on the pillow cushion but moved into the coop when Queenie started spending more time inside. This is the spot Queenie claimed and hung out a lot the past several months. Ernie also changed perch positions to Queenie's old spot. . It's obvious all these birds really miss Queenie but I think Ernie may have been hit the hardest emotionally. .
