🏡 Thinking about installing tile throughout your main level? It can look great, it’s durable, and if you love it, there’s absolutely nothing wrong with using it in your own home. But if you think you may sell in the next few years, it’s worth considering how buyers might react. I’ve seen buyers hesitate with large areas of tile because they immediately start thinking about how expensive and difficult it would be to remove if they wanted a different floor. That doesn’t mean you should design your house around the next owner. You still have to live there and enjoy it.
