𝗝𝗔𝗠𝗕 𝗘𝗫𝗧𝗘𝗡𝗗𝗦 𝗔𝗗𝗠𝗜𝗦𝗦𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗗𝗘𝗔𝗗𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗘 𝗧𝗢 𝗦𝗘𝗣𝗧𝗘𝗠𝗕𝗘𝗥 𝟯𝟬, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has extended the deadline for candidates offered admission between 2021 and 2026 to accept or reject their outstanding offers. The new deadline is now September 30, 2026, moved from the original August 31 date. This extension applies to candidates with pending offers under both regular admissions and the Centralised University and Institution Admission Process (CUIIA). JAMB's Acting Director of Public Affairs and Protocol, Fabian Benjamin, described the extension as a final opportunity for affected candidates and urged them not to wait until the last day. Candidates are advised to log into the Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS) to confirm the status of their admission offers. JAMB has reiterated that only admissions processed and approved through CAPS will be officially recognized — any offer accepted outside the platform is at the candidate's own risk.
