If you’re looking for a traditional dessert to make on Eid, try out this delicious suji halwa! 🌙 I made it using @East End Foods UK ghee and semolina! This recipe is quick and easy and it’s great for an indulgent Eid breakfast or as a dessert!! 🤩 Find the recipe below and check out East End’s range of ingredients which you can use this Ramadan and Eid! They can be found in your local supermarket and Asian grocery stores. Ingredients: 3/4 cup East End Foods ghee 1/2 cup East End Foods semolina 4 eggs, beaten 600ml milk 125ml fresh cream 300ml condensed milk 1/2 tsp cardamom powder 1/4 cup almond powder Pistachios and almonds to garnish 1. Add the ghee and semolina to a pot over a medium heat and allow the semolina to roast a little and turn pinkish in colour. 2. Lower the heat and add the milk and eggs. Stir quickly and continuously. 3. Stir in the cream and condensed milk until the suji reaches a porridge like consistency. 4. Add the cardamom and almond powder 5. Stir and cover for 5 mins. Allow the suji to cook until it dries out. 6.
