Jane Austen (1775–1817) was a clergyman's daughter from Hampshire who published six novels anonymously, including Pride and Prejudice, Sense and Sensibility, and Emma. She wrote sharp social comedy about marriage, money, and class from within a quiet country life, never married herself, and died at forty-one, her name only revealed to readers after her death. #janeausten #cosminacreates
