The sky came alive with colors this day. It’s a phenomenon called “nacreous clouds”,, also known as polar stratospheric clouds. They are rare, iridescent clouds that form under extremely cold temperatures (below -78°C or -108°F) They appear just after sunset or before sunrise when the sun is below the horizon, and they display brilliant pastel colors due to diffraction and scattering of sunlight by tiny ice particles. Their striking, shimmering appearance makes them one of the most beautiful atmospheric phenomena. This January, they have appeared a lot of times on the sky where I live, and its very rare! Have you got a glimpse of these clouds lately? #sweden #nordicstyle #scandinavia #naturelover #simplelife #dailychores #snow #Outdoors #northernlights #daytime #colorfulclouds
