Never Forget. 🇺🇸 On September 11, 2001, the largest maritime evacuation occurred in New York. More than 100 boats answered the call to evacuate more than 500,000 people from Manhattan after the largest terrorist attack on American soil. Later called Operation Boat Lift, without the sacrifice and service of New York and New Jersey’s maritime community, man more would have lost their lives that day.
