L.A.'s oldest family-run taquito stand has an incredible backstory! Aurora Guerrero moved to Los Angeles from Zacatecas, Mexico, in the 1920s and started selling handmade taquitos from a small wooden cart before sunrise. When Olvera Street was revived in 1934, she opened a permanent stand and named it after her favorite song, Cielito Lindo. Today, this 4th-generation family business is still hand-rolling taquitos and serving them with the exact same famous avocado sauce that made them an L.A. institution nearly a century ago. 📍 23 Olvera St, Los Angeles, CA 90012 #losangeles #cielitolindo #olverastreet #lahistory #lafoodie
