Champ is a sweet 6 year old boy that was surrendered for not being potty trained. Well first off that means you didn’t teach him, second the staff has not seen those signs. He waited til he was out of his kennel to use the restroom per volunteer. He’s last call for being stressed, we can’t blame him. He’s had a home for 6 years and now he’s sitting in a loud scary shelter, abandoned by his family. Can anyone please give this sweet cutie a chance by offering to foster or adopt. These behaviors suggest he is feeling highly anxious and frustrated in the shelter environment. Champ would benefit from a calmer, quieter space to reduce his stress levels and allow him to decompress. A patient adopter or rescue with experience in managing high-stress dogs will be ideal, as helping him feel more secure and providing consistent positive reinforcement will be key to improving his behavior.
