I drive... This is Resonance by Home and if you’ve ever heard this before you know that this was the song that defined the internet of the 2010s. From YouTube outros, to visual genres, and nostalgia videos, this was inescapable online and became an anthem for our generation. But how did this tune have such staying power? I think what's amazing about this song is that the producer, HOME, released this when they were 17 years old, and started making it when he was 16. It's actually a lot more complex melodically than people give credit for and MisterAmazing did an incredible video going over the music theory of how this song feels so nostalgic.
