A terrifying early morning home invasion took a shocking turn after a woman reportedly discovered that the masked man who broke into her apartment was her ex. Police say the 29-year-old man entered the Philadelphia apartment through a window around 5 a.m. The woman, in her early 20s, heard someone breaking in and encountered the masked intruder inside. She reportedly fired at him at least once. When first responders removed his ski mask while attempting to treat him, she recognized the man as her ex. The man died following the shooting, while the woman remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
