A 10-year-old boy who was saved from a rip current off the coast of Santa Cruz, California, last month said he wasn't sure if he "was going to make it," before a 16-year-old lifeguard and a group of good Samaritans rescued him from violent waters. Nathaniel Rai and his father, Sumit, described the scary experience to CBS News, thanking his rescuers for saving his life that day. "To go in there voluntarily just to try to help someone...I'm beyond grateful for what they did," Sumit said. #news #california #ocean #rescue #waves
