I should have NEVER paid this much! 😳😱🙈💰 YES NIGERIA YOU ARE RIGHT! I made a mistake… a big mistake! But hey at the time I paid I agreed on it and I was promised we would leave in 5 minutes. Going directly from Ikom to Enugu. We would just add some cargo… That is why I paid. Reality check: 45 min later we actually left and it was nothing what they promised the ride would be. 3.5 hours turned into 5.5 hours. NIGHTMARE! 😱 Paying my ticket (I actually never got a ticket) looked like I just emptied my entire bank account… but that was just $100 usd in naira. 🇳🇬💰 This is one of those moments in Nigeria where paying for something makes you feel like an absolute baller. 50,000 naira here. Another 50,000. Another stack on top. Before you know it, I’m standing there counting 136,000 naira in cash. 😂 I needed to get back to Enugu that same day so I could catch my flight to Lagos the next morning, and Prince was ready to take me he said. 136,000 naira, around $100 USD, and suddenly I’m holding a stack of cash that looks like I just won the jackpot. Nigeria really makes you feel rich when it’s time to pay. I honestly don’t know why I did this… but hey I helped some locals earn money that day!
