I wanted to make this video to pay tribute, honor and celebrate the life of Kaylee Hottle and her beloved character Jia. What she accomplished at such a young age is something beyond incredible and inspiring. As a part of the Godzilla community, I would love for her to know that she will always be loved and remembered in this family, and her work and role in these films is something that will be passed on from generation to generation. She seemed like such a lovely human and her contribution to the representation of deaf people in media cannot be overstated. This is such a devastating loss and my heart goes out to her family and all of her friends and the people who loved her. I will always love and admire her character and what she brought to this franchise. She will truly be missed by all of us.
