Hate to spoil this for our guests but couldn’t gatekeep for the girlies! If you’re getting married in LA/north OC, I recommend considering Porto’s for your wedding cake! Important to note: they only bake wedding cakes from their Glendale location. Quite the drive for us but they offer a free tasting if you make it, 5 flavors! You start by emailing [email protected] and then someone reaches out to discuss details + set up your tasting pickup. The process was so simple, there are sample cakes on display for sizing/decor plus a booklet of decor options. You can choose a different flavor per tier. Flavors: white cake with Bavarian cream, white cake with strawberry & mascarpone, Cuban cake with pineapple custard, chocolate cake, and red velvet. My fiancé and I REALLY wanted a tres leches wedding cake, and although I asked so nicely, it wasn’t possible. So we’re opting for a 50 person cutting cake in their flavors + ordering extra tres leches rounds for the best of both worlds. They’re delivering both to our venue, even though we’re a little outside their delivery range (thank you to our rep for making it work!!!)
