If your goal is to round out square glutes, here are four of my favorites to do at the end of my routine: 1️⃣ Standing cable kickouts – A great way to isolate your side glutes while keeping tension on them the entire rep. 2️⃣ Leaning cable fire hydrants – An easy exercise to progressively overload so your glutes keep getting stronger instead of plateauing. 3️⃣ Side-lying abductions – Don't rush these. Slowing the reps down and staying in control can make a huge difference in how much you actually feel your side glutes working. 4️⃣ Seated hip abductions (leaning forward) – If you always do these sitting upright, try leaning forward instead. Many people feel their lower outer glutes much more in this position. Remember, accessory exercises aren't meant to leave you exhausted. They’re meant to target the areas your main lifts don't fully hit. If you've been training consistently but your glutes still look boxy, my Body Recomp Challenge is built specifically to help. You'll get glute-focused workouts, personalized nutrition, form coaching, accountability, and a supportive community to help you finally see the shape you've been working for.
