Drake just dropped 3 new albums last night. One of them being “Iceman”, and one of the songs on “Iceman” being “Whisper My Name”. This beat is truly incredible. It has a weird, experimental, and cold vibe to it. The main melody is almost video-game like, but not in a fun way. And, the lead that comes after, sounds like something out of Stranger Things. Drake matches this vibe and elevates it. He leans into the desolate vibe of the song and bodies it. He definitely reached what you would call “flow state”.
