In a viral trend on TikTok many are parodying those dramatic true crime documentaries that are popular on Netflix. For one 43-year-old woman, it ended in her death. In the video she recorded, Sara Gilson accused her estranged husband, Jeremiah Duffey, of being a pedophile. Duffey broke into Gilson's Oklahoma home and fatally shot her before turning the gun on himself. Close friends Brandon and Courtney Johns say Gilson was terrified that her husband would be seeking vengeance for the video she posted. A GoFundMe has been set up to help support Gilson's children.
